Vintage Hand Carved Folk Art Mini Wood Toy Truck w Driver GERMANY
Primitively fashioned & nicely detailed, this miniature toy measures 2 3/8” long x 1 ¼” tall x 1" wide (side wheel to side wheel).It’s constructed of painted wood with metal parts. A metal nail forms the green truck’s steering wheel & there are 4 (½” wide) spoked lead wheels. The driver’s face has painted eyes,he wears an orange outfit with a blue hat.
Underside is Marked with a smudged “GERMANY” stamp in black.
Circa the 1930s-40s, this well-loved, toy is in good vintage condition, despite the driver missing 1 arm & the truck‘s moveable wheels being a bit wobbly!. It’s a charming, One-of-a-Kind miniature that makes you smile & Makes for a Marvelous display!
