    Description

    You are bidding on a Thordarson type 2000 Power Transformer.  It appears to be from the early 1930s, and was likely used for a transmitter.  From 115 VAC it generates 550-550 high voltage, and has two filament secondaries.  It is good, as I measure good continuity on all windings and their centertaps.  The input appears to have had an AC plug at one time, but is not a shorter wire.  It measures roughly 4 1/2 inches square in cross section, and is 5 3/4 inches tall, not counting the terminals or mounting flanges. It is a quality transformer that should be great for your tube project.  Shipping weight is 15 pounds, but I could squeeze it into a medium flat rate priority mail box.
