    Description

    FROM THE PERCY ABBOTT ESTATE
In 1955 Percy Abbott brought in one of the most unusual acts ever to appear not only at an Abbott Gettogether but at any magic convention before or after.
Chami Khan was a Peruvian who came to the USA by Percy Abbott who was told this man could perform a magic 'stunt' like nobody every could. He hired him without knowing what the man could do. At the Sturgis Young Auditorium in Sturgis Michigan before the intermission A large cross was brought onto the stage along with a priest and doctors. Chami was then nailed to the cross onstage! The audience was allowed to come up and examine the 'real' wounds. It was NO stunt. Chami could restrict the flow of blood to his hands and feet. No blood was shed. Percy addressed the audience and explained what was about to happen and anyone 'weak of heart' was asked to leave until the stunt was over and return after intermission.
This is a rare 8"x 10" photo of Chami along with original photos and slides of Chami in the Abbott home in Colon Michigan as well as actual photos of Chami being 'crucified'. These are one of a kind. We will also include copies of the original story as it appeared in the book, "Percy Abbott: Magical Years" written by Rick Fisher of The FAB Magic Companmy.
Don't miss out on this rare opportunity.
