Psychic Entertainers Association Watch and 2001 New Orleans Convention token – Treasures that are never listed until now!
The Psychic Entertainers Association is an international organization of about 250 members with a serious and vested interest in the ethical performance of psychic entertainment. Comprised of many of the world's top mentalists, bizarrists, hypnotists, readers, allied artists, and scholars of these arts, and includes full-time, part-time, and retired entertainers. The M.O.T.M. 2001 Convention in New Orleans was more than a great event. As it is always said in the trades…."You had to be there!".
Listed here are two unique items The Watch: With the P.E.A. logo. I put in a new Duracell 377/376 battery in it in April 2021. I think it might need cleaning. The only item that you might watch add would be the crown. It was the previous owner's idea to have it removed. To change the time, he would pop the back off and pull the stem out and change the time. Word was, he removed it to 'edgy'. It's your call. The case shows some aging, but does not harm the overall appearance. The crystal is fine. Everything is being sold as is. That's the best part. You are getting treasures that are seldom available. The case has signs of the past watch band as shown. Again, normal wear. Add a band and you're all set! Cool items!
The Token: Two sided aluminum 1 1/2" diameter (3.81cm). One side has "M.O.T.M. 2001 New Orleans and an image of Bourbon Street and side two has the P.E.A. logo. The token looks good as seen in the images.
Both items listed have normal wear.
