Our plastic moving bed filter media is ideal for larger filtration applications such as pond filters, where a large amount of biological filter media is required.
This quality filter media is perfect for all fluidised moving static bed pond and aquarium filters and provides a very large active surface area for bacteria to colonise, more than other types of static media. It is this process which removes harmful ammonia and nitrite from the water.
Unlike filter foam, matting, or other forms of static filtration media, this media is designed to move freely within your filter. The constant chaotic movement of the air from your pump, causes the media to self-clean and thus requires no maintenance. This allows the filter to reach optimum effectiveness without the disturbance of periodic cleaning, avoiding unnecessary loss of bacteria within the filter.
We have this media available in 3 sizes – K1 Micro Size (9mm x 6mm), K1 Size (10mm x 7mm), and K3 Size (25mm x 12mm). We also sell different volumes of this media. Please select the required amount from the drop-down menu when ordering.
Please Note: The K1 Micro and K1 filter media is packed in 1 Litre bags and will be supplied in individual 1 litre bags equating to the amount ordered. The K3 filter media is packed in 5 litre bags and will be supplied in individual 5 litre bags equating to the amount ordered.

We also provide many other none aquatic related products, including commercial water filters and replacement filter cartridges for refrigerator and under sink filter kits. All of our products are manufactured to the highest standards, under strict quality control measures and all of our products listed are in stock in our UK based warehouse, ready for same day dispatch.

All of our items are in stock in our UK based warehouse for immediate dispatch. Orders placed before 3pm are shipped on the same day. Please note, we do not dispatch items on Saturdays. We offer free delivery by Royal Mail 48 on all items available for sale in our eBay shop. Our free post option usual takes around 2-3 days to arrive with Royal Mail. We also offer a 1st class postage option, which is usually a next day service if your order is placed before 3pm. If a next day guaranteed service is required, Royal Mail Special Delivery can also be selected at the checkout, and this will ensure the item arrives the next day before 1pm. If required, these postage upgrades can be selected at the checkout stage.

We hope you will be extremely pleased with your purchase from us, however, if you are unsatisfied or change your mind about a purchase, we have a 'no questions asked' returns policy. All customers are entitled to a refund of the item amount paid minus actual postage costs. We do, however require all products to be returned to us within 60 days, at the customers cost. Please ensure an appropriate level of compensation insures the item whilst in transit, as we can't accept liability for losses of returns in the post. Once we receive the item back in its original condition, We will then refund the item amount minus our postage cost paid. For change of mind returns, we ask that items are returned in their original condition and packaging to allow them to be resold.
