Each Matala filter mat measures 24" x 24" x 1.5" thick.

These light weight sheets provide mechanical and biological filtration by trapping debris as water easily flows through the sheets. Bacteria then colonizes along the debris and the incredible surface area to breed beneficial cultures and keep your pond clear of algae on a microbial level. The construction is firm, stable, and semi rigid while not being brittle what so ever. It even boasts a level of crush resistance. Matala filter media can also be trimmed very easily, providing great versatility.
