    Biography:
    Edward Maro
    (1868-1908)
    Stage name of Walter Truman Best, one of the first successful headlining magician on the Lyceum and Chautauqua circuits who billed himself as the "Prince of Magic". He was a shadow-graphist, musician, and artist.
    Condition:
    Paper loss to lower right of back page, a 2" tear at the bottom of the midline fold, small creases evident.
