ECOMIN CIDEX 2.5% (Algicid + CO2) is an effective remedy for undesirable ovaries in the aquarium - algae, as well as an organic carbon source for plants.
Effective against almost all known species: Black Beard, Xenococcus, Nitchatka, Compsopogon ... and others.
The site kills algae cells, but does not harm the plants!
This makes it the most effective and safe alcohard for the aquarium.
The code is a source of organic CO2, so when introduced into an aquarium - plants receive additional nutrition, and their growth is stimulated.

Method of administration and dose:
As a source of organic CO2:
Inject 1-5 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water daily.
Treatment against algae:
Day 1: After the planned substitution of water, add 5 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water
Day 2-4: 10 ml per 100 liters
Day 5: Replace the water (do not clean the filter) and add 15 ml per 100 liters
6-8 day: 15 ml per 100 liters
Day 9: Replace water and add 10 ml per 100 liters
Day 10: 10 ml per 100 liters
With a strong infection of algae a month, the course can be repeated by increasing the dose.
Prevention of algae:
Add 15-30 ml per 100 liters each week after a routine cleaning and substitution of water.
Recommendations and Cautions:
WARNING!
During treatment with ECOMIN CIDEX-2.5%, intensified AERATION (air blowing) should be activated!
When overloading the aquarium, do not use the drug!
In an aquarium without live plants and poorly filtered, the dose should be reduced!
If there was turbidity of water or there is an unusual behavior of the inhabitants of the aquarium, you need to stop using the drug, and if necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated by reducing the dosage.

1 Why Cidex and not a reset of the aquarium and its complete disinfection and cleaning?
- Restarting the aquarium and its complete disinfection and cleaning is a laborious, long and dangerous process for many plants and fish. It does not guarantee a complete disposal of fiber and black beard and relapse. Compared to rebooting, Cidex with less effort, time and less shock for fish and plants allows you to completely get rid of nitrite and black beard and ensures no relapse. It is especially effective on large volumes of aquariums.
2 How effective is Cidex compared to some fish and snails?
- Only a few fish and snails eat black beard and thread. But the effect of their activities (it tends to zero) can be neglected in comparison with the effect of Cidex (tends to 100%).
3 Is it possible to fight with Cidex in an aquarium with green and brown algae:
-Not. But green and brown algae are easily cleaned with brushes and scrapers, water changes and lighting control. Cidex effectively fights filament and black beard, which are almost impossible to remove manually and using the above methods from the surfaces of the aquarium and plants.
4 It is true that Cidex is harmless to all species of fish and plants.
-Not. The therapeutic dose is dangerous for shrimp, snails and some plants with thin leaves, such as vallisneria. These inhabitants of the aquarium need to be sedimented, or the dose should be experimentally reduced to preventive.
