Chung Ling Soo (William Ellsworth Robinson). Chung Ling Soo. And His Ten Assistants. Birmingham: James Upton Ltd., ca. 1908. Striking portrait of Soo with his fingers – his “ten assistants” outstretched before him. 30 x 20”. The poster bears the initials “T.E.S.”, most likely T.E. Stephens, who also designed the famous Mighty Cheese poster for P.T. Selbit. It is one of the only Soo posters to bear an artist’s initials.
