    Building blocks are more than toys according to Ron Bower about his
    maple "Archiblocks" which M
    useum shop operators say are the only wooden architectural blocks made in the United States, hardly seem ordinary playthings.
    ''They are toys, but not necessarily for children,'' Mr. Bower said of Archiblocks (pronounced ARK-i-blocks), which have been on the market since January.
    Noting that 75 percent of his blocks are bought by adults for adults, he added: ''Some adults just display them in their own wooden box as a piece of sculpture, or others put them on a coffee table so anyone who comes by plays. The large sets are best for kids.''
    Archiblocks' correctly proportion pediments, Doric columns, gables, lintels and other elements. They are three-dimensional downscale versions of Greek, Roman, Gothic, post-modern, Southwestern and colonial America architectural styles.
