We considered the problem and after several months of research, found the perfect solution. I modified the Ipad Mini Dash Mount to create an opening in the side that allows you to quickly and easily remove your Ipad Mini in a matter of seconds.
The iPad mini Dash Mount attaches to the dash with a single screw and uses a stock screw location. And more importantly, NO DASH ALTERATIONS ARE REQUIRED! Your iPad Mini can be inserted into the mount and connected to the stock radio with an aux cable or via Bluetooth (if your Jeep is Bluetooth capable).
