    Description

    The ATS 2000 Series Telephone Craftpersons Test Set is constructed of high impact polyamid plastic for survival of all drop tests presently utilized in field testing up to 20-ft. The unit is weather resistant. The battery compartment is separate from the other electronics section. The test set cords are field replaceable and accessed in the battery compartment. This set offers GROUND START function without the need for special cords and comes equipped with AUTO-RINGER automatic ring sensing providing ring detection without the need of having a ringer in the circuit. This provides additional high-impedance protection against activating a data circuit. The 2000 series test set is data safe in the MONITOR Mode.
