Description

This is a geotextile filter material in tube or "sock" form, white in color. Its nominal size is 2" but it will stretch to fit larger diameters (as big as 4"). Understand however that the more you stretch it, the larger the particles it will allow to pass through. This fabric filters out rocks, gravel, sand and organic material but it allows very fine sediment to pass though so it resists clogging. It can even be rinsed out to improve performance and be reused. This is a good material for lake and pond pumps, retaining wall drainage, or any other filtering/straining that you want to do. It is made by the American manufacturer Carriff Corporation and is the same fabric found in their 3" and 4" drain sleeve products, just in a smaller 2" diameter.
